SIBU: Sarawak Archery Association (SAA) in collaboration with Sibu Division Archery Association (SDAA) will stage a basic archery coaching course at Sibu Archery Centre from Jan 13-15.
SDAA secretary Eric Tiong said they were looking at 35 participants. Closing date for the three-day course is Jan 9.
“Our main target group is the school teachers as we aim to promote and bring the sport into schools,” he added.
Tiong said each participant would also get a certificate from SAA after the course. He said these certificate holders would then be eligible to attend the national level 1 coaching course which will be held here from March 15-18.
