KUCHING: The body of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem is on its way home from the Sarawak Heart Centre after he passed away here at 1.24pm today.

Pallbearers carried the late chief minister’s coffin onto a waiting hearse to be transported back to his family home in Santubong at approximately 5.50pm.

Adenan’s widow, Datin Patinggi Datuk Jamilah Anu, was there to accompany the hearse carrying the coffin back to their home.

Adenan will be laid to rest at the Samariang Muslim Cemetery after the Zohor prayers tomorrow.

Members of the public can pay their last respects to the late chief minister at the state mosque in Petra Jaya starting at 10.30am.
