KUCHING: ENE (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (ENE), a subsidiary of Magnum 4D Bhd (Magnum), is confident of maintaining its strong operations in Sarawak.

Having 53 outlets throughout the state, the gaming operator is poised to prosper with the opening of its new office located at Trinity Hub, Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli here yesterday.

Magnum Corporation Sdn Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Lawrence Lim expressed great confidence for Magnum’s operations in the state.

“We believe the new office is located in a strategic locations which is up and coming. This will provide convenience to our sales partners and customers who are dealing with us.

“At the same time, we reaffirm our commitment for our operations in Sarawak,” he said during the opening of the new office.

Among those present include Magnum’s chief marketing officer Seah Kok Leong, Magnum’s operations head Stephanie Ang, representatives of the welfare homes and sales partners.

Lim added that the new office, which is bigger will enable Magnum to conduct more corporate social responsibility (CSR) events in the future.

He stressed on Magnum’s commitment to give back to the community through its CSR events as a sign of support throughout its operations all these years.

Additionally, Lim also thanked stakeholders who continued to support the company.

In conjunction with the opening of Magnum’s new office, the company also presented contributions to 18 welfare homes.

Magnum Group’s CSR head Beh Swan Swan in a statement said, “It is our corporate tradition since 1985 to help and initiate cheerful moments to the welfare homes in welcoming the auspicious Chinese New Year.

“Magnum is committed to continue render assistance to the various welfare homes,” she said.

She noted in Sarawak, Magnum through its MagnumCares Teams – led by chief commercial officer Datuk Chan Chee Fai, ENE’s regional manager Liew Kee Chuan together with Magnum workforce and sales partners – will visit 43 welfare homes and bring cheer to the inmates.

Besides distributing angpows and festive goods, she revealed that the team will help to enhance the living condition and replace worn-out items for some of the welfare homes.
