KUCHING: Lien Dak Group of Companies’ RM300 million small office home office (Soho) development LD Legenda will release developer reserved units of Soho Suite Plus at current prices this weekend.
A press release said there is a possible price restructure after Chinese New Year due to the rising cost of building materials.
Limited two-room and three-room units with dual key concept are still available, while the single-room studio units are sold out with a long waiting list.
A sales team roadshow will start in Miri today and tomorrow (Jan 19-20) at The Imperial Mall from 10am to 10pm.
On Saturday and Sunday (Jan 21-22) from 10am to 10pm, the team will be at Parkcity Mall Bintulu, while on Monday to Tuesday (Jan 23-24) from 10am to 10pm, the team will be at Star Mega Mall in Sibu.
Those in Kuching can drop by the LD Legenda Sales Gallery for the Chinese New Year Open House on Jan 31 from 11am to 5pm, when there will be a lion dance performance and lunch, with a desktop calendar and angpow package to be distributed while stocks last.
The sales gallery is located at No. 32 (ground floor), Hock Kui Commercial Centre, Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce.
Construction on LD Legenda – located next to the Sarawak General Hospital and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) Faculty of Medicine – is proceeding according to schedule and expected to be completed by December 2018.
The most difficult phase of the development – the contiguous bored pile wall for the basement and excavation for the basement level – has been completed.
The press statement said the ground condition proved a challenge as they encountered hard rock during bored pile and excavation work.
Going forward, the aim is to complete the superstructure of the building by early next year.
By then the commercial retail shops at the lower ground and ground floors should be completed and ready for operation.
The commercial outlets are currently open for rental and those interested are advised to register for the limited units, with selection at the discretion of the management based on the tenancy mix of the commercial arcade.
LD Legenda will comprise 569 Soho suites and 52 commercial outlets.
The three-level basement will have 800 parking bays for both the Soho and commercial usage.
Other features include a skyline infinity pool and sky park gym.
Meanwhile, Lien Dak executive chairman Stephen Wong recently received the ‘2016 The World Young Chinese Entrepreneurs’ award at the 13th World Summit of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Macau.
The award was in recognition of his outstanding performance in the Architectural and Property Development Industry.
Lien Dak Development Sdn Bhd was also awarded the ‘Asia Excellence Brand Award 2016’ in Hong Kong recently by world renowned Yazhou Zhoukan (Asia Weekly) for the company’s efforts in contributing to Sarawak.
