At a press conference when announcing the cabinet line-up after the swearing-in ceremony, Abang Johari said: “Basically, there is no change for the time being”.

Asked why another deputy chief minister was not appointed, Abang Johari replied: “What happens is I will concentrate on pursuing what has been done by the late Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem and will reshuffle the cabinet when the time comes”.

“I’ll let you know when I have a revelation…give me time,” he added when asked whether there is any time frame for the reshuffle.

To a question whether it was a burden for him to hold four portfolios, Abang Johari pointed out that he has capable assistant ministers to carry out the duties.
