MIRI : X St Co won the open category at last weekend’s 5-a-side cement hockey tournament jointly organised by SMK St Columba and Warrior Hockey Club.
They beat Thunder 2-0 in the final. Goodwood was third.
School teams competed in the Boys Under-17, Girls Under-17and Girls Under-14.
SMK Belaga emerged as Boys U-17 champions followed by Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang A and SMK St Columba A.
In the Girls U-17, Kolej Tun Datu Tuanku Haji Bujang B and A were first and third while SMK St Columba A was runner-up.
The college won its second title in the Girls U-14. SMK St Columba A and B finished second and third.
Assistant youth and sport officer for Miri Endera Morshidi gave away the prizes.
