ICU chief pays courtesy call on Abang Johari

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg received a visit from Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister’s Department director-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Zaki Ansore Mohd Yusop at the former’s office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here yesterday.

The courtesy call on Abang Johari was meant to nurture better relationship and cooperation between ICU and the state government.

Ahmad Zaki also conveyed the federal government’s congratulatory message to Abang Johari on the latter’s appointment as chief minister.

“The close relation between ICU and the state government is very much needed to ensure smooth delivery of government projects to benefit the people of the state,” a statement from the state Information Department said.

ICU director Mohamad Zaki Mahyudin and State Implementation and Monitoring Unit special administrative officer Datuk Kamal Husien were also present at the courtesy call.
