KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak concluded his three-day working visit to the state yesterday.

He headed to Kuching International Airport (KIA) after the Friday prayer and boarded his official jet bound for Kuala Lumpur at 2.30pm.

Sending him off were Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohammad Morshidi Abdul Ghani, Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian who is also SUPP president, and several local Chinese community leaders.

Najib was in Lundu earlier yesterday to officiate at the opening of the Medan Selera – the town’s new food court.

The premier had a busy schedule on Thursday, which kicked off with the official opening of SJK Chung Hua No 4’s new school block, followed by a visit to Dr Sim’s Chinese New Year open house. In the evening, he had a walkabout at Kota Padawan, which concluded with a Chinese New Year celebration dinner at SJK Chung Hua Mile 10.
