MAHB to cooperate with police over death of N Korean at klia2

KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd said yesterday it would extend the fullest cooperation to the police in their investigation into the death of a North Korean man at the KL International Airport 2 on Monday.

MAHB chairman Tan Sri Dr Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Abdullah said it included providing the footage of the CCTV cameras at the airport to assist the investigation.

“They (police) are still investigating the case … so, we will provide full cooperation to them, because it happened at our premises.

“There have been several recordings on the CCTV cameras … we are working well with the police in the investigation,” he told reporters after a briefing on the development of Kota Kinabalu International Airport here.

Questioned on the security at klia2, Wan Abdul Aziz said MAHB did not face any problem in that aspect as security there was good.

Wan Abdul Aziz said MAHB would continue to take more precautions to further enhance security at the airport. — Bernama
