SIBU: Project Team A showed its prowess by emerging the champion in the DUN Nangka Sepal Takraw League 2017 organized by the Secretariat of Nangka Unity and Social, Culture and Sport (SSBSPN) held in Sepak Takraw hall Bandong Road here recently.
With the victory, the team took home cash of RM500, medals and the top trophy.
In second position were Dibak G’A’ team who garnered RM300 and in joint third placing were Project Team B and M.B.R. who each pocketed RM150.
A committee member of SSBSPN, Edmund, was present to give away the prizes.
Earlier, Assistant Minister of Biotechnology and Science Research Dr Annuar Rapaee, who is also Nangka assemblyman, was in attendance to open the two-day tournament with a field of 24 teams.
