KUCHING: A female Malayan civet was handed over to the Forest Department’s prevention and enforcement section on Wednesday.

The civet, which was caught in a cage at a cocoa factory in Sejingkat, was handed over by the factory owner.

It was then transported by the enforcement officer to Matang Wildlife Centre for rehabilitation.

The civet will later be released to its original habitat.
