Students who excelled in their SPM examination.
MIRI: SMK Chung Hua Miri is celebrating the success of 16 of its students in achieving straight As in the 2016 SPM examination.
The straight A scorers are Christopher Yong Wan Kang, Henrrich Huong Sheng Yin, Hii Lee Jia, Janie Sia Phui Jeng, Jong Sze Sze, Justina Ong Fang Ting, Lau Kim Sin, Lau Puong Jun, Lee Kian Ming, Lee Yen Hwa, Ngu Siaw Hui, Pagie Lau Ting Ying, Tan Yi Tern, Wong Wei Jie, Gabrielle Chieng Shiao Wei and Hii Hui Jiao.
In addition to that, two students from the school obtained 10As while 25 scored 9As, 22 scored 8As, 14 achieved 7As, 10 scored 6As and seven students achieved 5As.
School senior assistant Lai Jia Ling said the school again recorded excellent average grade (GPS) of 4.09.
She then welcomed the SPM leavers to take their Form 6 at the school.
Chairman of the school board, Tan Sr Dato Paduka Chai Yu Lan congratulated the students who did well in the SPM examination.
She hoped the school will maintain the achievement to serve as motivation for younger students to do well.
