KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg received three courtesy calls at his office here yesterday.
The first came from Sarawak Hand Ball Association (Saha), headed by Tuanku Masera Zahira Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar to invite Abang Johari to the 12th Chief Minister Hand Ball Tournament and 7th Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi Cup to be held at Kampung Tunku Community Hall, Jalan Astana here from March 20-23.
Abang Johari was also briefed on the proposed Saha indoor stadium and the Malaysian women’s handball team participation in an international tournament in Jakarta, Indonesia from Aug 22-27.
Next to call on Abang Johari was a delegation from Hikmah Sarawak, headed by its president Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Datuk Husain, who then introduced the Hikmah leadership committee and also explained briefly about the organisation’s development and achievements.
This was followed by a courtesy visit from Minister of State for Bulawayo Province of Zimbabwe, the Honourable Eunice Moyo who is in Kuching from March 16-18.
