MIRI: A couple in their 50s suffered minor injuries when the car they were travelling in collided with another car at Jalan Tanjung Lobang here yesterday.
Several eyewitnesses met at the scene yesterday said the accident occurred when the car driven by a woman in her 30s made a U-turn at Jalan Tanjung Lobang.
It is learnt that the couple was coming from Luak Bay and heading towards the city centre, while the woman was from the opposite direction.
Upon reaching Jalan Tanjung Lobang, the woman decided to make a u-turn which caused the couple who was coming from the opposite direction to crash into her car.
The couple were later taken to Miri Hospital for treatment.
The woman driver, however, was unhurt.
