SIBU: A businessman was left fuming after a moment of carelessness cost him RM50,000.
The man had withdrawn the money from a bank at about 2pm and together with his wife, went to a coffeeshop at Pahlawan Road for a drink.
The money was meant as salaries for his employees and other expenses.
The man reportedly left the envelope containing the money on the table after he finished the drink and went back to his office.
It was only around 4pm that he realised he had left the envelope on the table and immediately rushed back to the coffeeshop, but the money was already gone.
He then lodged a police report.
Police, after receiving the report, went to the coffeeshop and brought three people to the police station where their statements were taken before they were released.
