Viva beat Exora, Alza and Persona in Tatau

BINTULU: Nyanggau Micheal Ronny and Marthissya Salleh were crowned best male and female athletes at the recent 8th SK Tatau Track and Field Championships held at the school field recently.

Viva emerged as overall champion house beating Exora, Alza and Persona.

Exora clinched the top prize in the parade contest and camp decoration.

Tatau assistant education officer Muhd Nur Abdullah officiated at the closing ceremony and gave away the prizes.

In his remarks Muhd Nur said sports can strengthen the relationship and understanding between the school and local communities.

SK Tatau headmaster Janudin Ab Rahman called on parents to give their strong and undivided support to school activities.

“This is our yearly event and also our early preparation for the athletes to compete at the district level event in October,” he said.

SK Tatau has won the district level MSS Sarawak event for past three years.
