KOTA KINABALU: Umno Sabah is loyal to its fellow members in the Barisan Nasional (BN), said its state liaison chairman, Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
“Don’t doubt Umno, we never betray our friends in whatever we are championing and fighting for.
“We have proven that we never betrayed anyone not only in the seats Umno has contested in but also seats contested by our fellow component members in BN,” said Musa when officiating the state-level ‘JR and JR Plus Wanita Umno’ here last night.
Musa who is also the Sabah BN chief and Chief Minister, reminded all the components that everyone must have a winning metality in order to attain success.
“We must also have cooperation in order to attain success and we need to build and expand our strength,” he added.
Musa said that problems could be resolved by working together and maintaining a good relationship between each other.
According to him with the JR and JR Plus machinery, BN will be able to do better in the 14th General Election.
Winning Umno seats is not enough, he pointed out, adding, “we also want the BN components to also win in their respective seats.
Musa also stressed that the opposition also have problems and they may be more than what BN is having.
Speaking to the media later, Musa said that with JR and JR Plus which include Umno Youth and Puteri movements as well as BN component parties, the coalition will be a strong and effective force to be dealt with.
