KUCHING: Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Kuching made a successful defence of their title in the Ladies Touch Rugby tournament at Song Kheng Hai Rugby Field last Saturday when their A team edged Wolverine 1-0 in the Cup final. They went home with another trophy when their B team lost 0-1 to MTA in the Plate final.
Both MRSM Kuching teams were coached by Vincent Nelos.
The Bowl category was won by Wira A who beat EST 99 on the toss of coin and the Spoon final was also won in the same manner by Bavaria over MTC.
MTB won the Shield when they beat KV Betong 1-0 while the Saucer final saw Wira B edging MTD 1-0.
Political secretary Hamzah Ibrahim officiated at the closing on behalf of Works Minister Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof. Also present was Sarawak Rugby Union president Richard Song Swee Jin.
