KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has revoked the Capital Markets Services Representative’s Licences (CMSRLs) of three individuals, namely Norhashmilaidi Hashim, Ngan Piang Heng @ Ngam Siong Fook and Abd Malik Abu Bakar.

In a statement yesterday, it said all three CMSRLs were revoked under section 72 read together with section 65 of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA), effective March 27 for Norhashmilaidi and Ngan, and April 18 for Malik.

“Norhashmilaidi, Ngan and Abd Malik were formerly attached with Affin Hwang Investment Bank Bhd, AmInvestment Bank Bhd and Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd respectively.

“The CMSRLs of all three individuals were revoked when they were found to be undischarged bankrupts,” it said.

The commission also said they had not filed any appeal against the SC’s decision within the prescribed time as provided under the CMSA. — Bernama
