KUCHING: Three individuals were arrested and subsequently tested positive for drug abuse following a house raid in Stutong on Wednesday.
District police chief ACP Abang Ahmad Abang Julai, who confirmed the arrests, said police found Syabu worth about RM1,110 and two Erimin 5 pills in the suspects’ possession at the time of the raid.
“A team from the district Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department was despatched to the house after a tip-off was received,” said Abang Ahmad in a statement yesterday.
“All three suspects are originally from the Stutong Resettlement Scheme and are aged between 31 and 44 years old,” he added.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 39A(1), Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
