MIRI: The Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women’s wing is focussed and ready to help recapture the Pujut seat for Barisan Nasional (BN).

PBB Women’s wing deputy chair Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said members have continuously been working with the people at the grassroots level.

“Anytime the election is called, we are ready to go. All this while, we have been doing everything that we can for the people,” she said after meeting PBB Women’s wings for Lambir, Piasau, Senadin, Pujut and Bekenu yesterday.

Fatimah admitted wresting back the seat would not be easy as the opposition had won the seat with a majority of nearly 2,000 votes.

However, she said campaigning strategically among all BN component parties would make a win achievable.

“We will be working together with other BN component parties and give assistance to ensure the candidate from BN will win the seat.

“We in PBB are constantly fighting for the betterment of the people and t6o ensure that the Pujut seat will not fall back to the opposition,” she said.
