KUCHING: Abdul Majid Abdullah won the Megalanes Sarawak Ramadhan 8 Pin-tap Challenge at E-Mart Batu Kawa last Saturday after he knocked down 1,237 pinfalls over five games.
Fourteen pins behind him in second place was Jeffrey Kaso while Glen Robin registered 1,198 and Abdul Latip Jamil had 1,172 pinfalls for the third and fourth placings respectively.
Majid was rewarded with a pair ABS S-950 bowling shoes while the second to fourth-placed winner each received Brunswick Double-Ball Tote bag.
In the fifth to seventh spots were Osman Waili, Abdul Rahman Mohamed and Norhayati Abdullah @ Meg who each received an Advance single-ball bag.
Other prizes included Lil Baba Ramadhan vouchers, CoffeyCat vouchers and hampers.
Meanwhile, Megalanes Sarawak will holding the Megalanes Sarawak Ramadhan 9 Pin-tap Challenge at E-Mart Batu Kawa this Sunday.
It is open to bowlers who have an average of 170 and Below, with the check-in at 2pm and roll-off at 2.30pm.
Participants shall bowl five games and the entry fee is RM60 plus game fees (inclusive of Berbuka Puasa Buffet).
Registration is now open and the closing date is June 17.
Top six bowlers will receive RM400, RM180, RM120, RM100, RM70 and RM60.
Those finishing in seventh to 10th placing will receive five free games vouchers each.
There are also special prizes, with the winner of each game to receive a complimentary dish (pandan chicken or green curry) when dining at The Lil Baba Restaurant.
Bowler with the second highest score in each game will receive a complimentary RM10 CoffeyCat voucher while the first bowler to score back-to-back perfect game (scratch) will receive RM100.
