MIRI: DAP Sarawak will announce its candidate for the Pujut by-election only if the decision by the High Court in Kuching tomorrow favours Barisan Nasional (BN).

Its chairman Chong Chieng Jen said the delivery of the decision by the High Court is scheduled to be heard at around 9am tomorrow.

Speaking at a press conference at DAP Miri headquarters today, Chong, who is also Kota Sentosa assemblyman, hoped that the decision will favour disqualified Pujut assemblyman Dr Ting Tiong Choon.

The party has also prepared its contingency plan if they lose the petition.

Present were Kidurong Assemblyman Chiew Chin Sing, Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong Wui Wui and state DAP secretary Alan Ling Sie Kiong.
