KUCHING: A total of 32 police reports were lodged nationwide last week against infamous blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris or Papagomo over his allegedly seditious statement.

State commissioner of police Datuk Mazlan Mansor said the reports were lodged at 15 police stations.

“We have opened an investigation paper regarding the police reports.

“Therefore, give us time to complete the investigation,” he told reporters after breaking the fast with police here on Thursday.

He explained that there were technicalities involved because the case involved social media.

Papagomo had allegedly insulted Sarawak in his post defending Minister of Tourism and Culture Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz following the latter’s spat with Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, drawing condemnation from Sarawakians.
