KUCHING: Kelab Golf Sarawak (KGS) will be holding its Gawai Dayak Golf competition at its Matang Santubong and Siol Demak Nines in Petra Jaya on June 27.
The in-house tournament has attracted 189 golfers including 17 ladies and is divided into Men’s Group A, Men’s Group B and Ladies. A hole-in-one prize in the form of a Lexus RX200t Luxury sports utility vehicle worth RM408,400 has been sponsored by Lexus Kuching for the achiever of the feat at either Matang Hole 3 or Siol Hole 4.
In a simple ceremony at the KGS lobby yesterday, Lexus Kuching sales manager Sean Chin handed over the sponsorship to organising chairman Leo Mamba.
Also present were KGS captain Dr David Sylvester Ling, KGS tournament committee member Stephen Maw, general manager KR Devindran, Dayak Golf Association committee members Wilfred Landong and Donny Inam.
