The woman with her hand stuck in the dough mixer.
KUCHING: A female worker suffered injuries to her right fingers after her hand was caught in a dough mixer while preparing for business Thursday afternoon.
The incident which took place at one of the food stalls next to the Kota Samarahan ferry wharf saw nine Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel rushing to the scene some 2km away.
According to Bomba, the woman’s hand was released from the mixer using a special rescue tool before she was given first aid by medical personnel who were also called to the scene.
The 39-year-old woman was later sent to the Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.
