BUDAPEST: Malaysian diving duo Pandelela Rinong Pamg and Cheong Jun Hoong took bronze at the World Aquatics Championships in Hungary on Sunday.
According to AFP, they scored 328.74 points, trailing behind China and North Korea.
China maintained their two-decade dominance in the women’s 10 metre synchronised platform with a score of 352.56 points.
Competing for the first time together, Ren Qian and Si Yajie took the gold for China, which has now won this event at all nine world meets since Ukraine won in 1988, reported AFP.
Behind the Chinese team, Kim Mi-Rae and Kim Kuk-Hyang won North Korea’s first ever silver medal at a world meet with 336.48 points.
