KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) will organise an Under-23 hockey tournament for boys (6-a-side) and girls (7-a-side) at Sarawak Hockey Stadium, Jalan Padungan here on Aug 19 and 20 in conjunction with Kuching Festival 2017.
The council said in a press statement the tournament is organised in collaboration with the Hockey Association Sarawak (HAS).
A team can register up to a maximum of nine players for girls and eight players for boys.
Due to constraint of two days to complete the competition, organisers have asked teams to submit entries early to avoid disappointment as there is a limit on the number of teams.
Entry fee is RM30 per team.
Deadline for submission of entries is at 6pm on Aug 17 when all team managers are required to attend a meeting at the Sarawak Hockey Stadium conference room.
