KUALA LUMPUR: Gas Malaysia Bhd has announced the appointment of Kamal Bahrain Ahmad as its Non-Independent Director effective yesterday.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Gas Malaysia said Kamal Bahrain has the wealth of plant experience, having had a total of 15 years of experience running all three Petronas refineries in Kerteh, Melaka and Durban, South Africa.
In 2014, he was appointed as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Petronas Penapisan Melaka Sdn Bhd.
Gas Malaysia also announced the resignation of Yusa’ Hassan as Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director effective yesterday due to Petronas inter group transfer. — Bernama
