KUCHING: Eric Chong topped the June-July final for the 189 & Below category of the Megalanes Skins Challenge at Megalanes Adventure World at King’s Centre on Wednesday after knocking down 1,694 pins over nine games in the nine-player field.
Not too far behind the winner in second place with 1,673 pins was Adrian Koh while Lim Cho Kwang was third with his total pinfalls of 1,603.
The fourth to ninth finishers were Nur Hazirah, Alfred Chong, Arturo P’roque, Herman Shah, Marzainah Jayamara and Asya Dania.
In the 149 & Below category, Cornelious Law was the top finisher with his total pinfalls of 1,485 scored over nine games.
Forty pins behind him in second spot was Fairaizulhisham and Azman Ismail claimed the third spot with 1,415 pinfalls.
Those finishing in fourth to 12th positions were Rosnita Endeng, Muhd Ihsan Fikri, Nur Syazwani Marais, Ruhana Bujang, Mohd Syawal, Scriven Tan, Awg Muhd Azizul, Nur Diyana and Jopen Abut.
The top three finishers of the Open, 189 & Below, 169 & Below, 159 & Below, 149 & Below and 109 & Below categories for the monthly finals qualify for the grand finals in November.
