KUCHING: A teenage girl was traumatised after she had to endure six years being allegedly raped by her own father, grandfather and her two uncles ever since she was 13-years-old.
The 19-year-old victim was found to be pregnant at the Serian Hospital after she arrived at the hospital at around 2.30 pm yesterday, following a medical checkup.
She later revealed that her 14-year-old sister was also the victim of the four individuals from the age of nine.
State CID chief SAC Datuk Dev Kumar said that police have arrested the four suspects at their house at Kampung Saha Seroban, Serian at around 3.30pm.
“The victim revealed that she had been raped by four men namely her father, grandfather and two of her uncles since she was a 13-year-old.
“The victim also revealed that her sister was also victimised and that all these rape incidents were said to have occurred in their house.
“Acting on the tip-off a team of CID Serian district headquarters headed by Insp Vimal Nathan arrested all four suspects aged 26 to 57,” he said in a statement here yesterday.
It is learned that the four suspects who work as farmers will be brought to Samarahan Court 10am today for remand application.
The case is being investigated under Section 376B of the Penal Code.
