BINTULU: A car’s front seat suddenly caught fire around 12.36pm at the Lorong B5, Sebiew’s People’s Housing Plan (RPR) yesterday.
According to a Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson, the incident did not cause any casualty and no driver or passenger was hurt during the incident.
Fire and Rescue Department personnel rushed to the scene after being informed.
“Thanks to the fast action of residents in the residential area, the fire was put out, preventing further damage. Investigations will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire,” added the spokesperson.
