BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday received in audience His Excellency Wang Jiarui, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), who is on a four-day visit to the country. The audience ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman, brudirect.com reported.
During the Audience Ceremony, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency Wang Jiarui discussed bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the People’s Republic of China, as well as exchanged views on regional issues. Accompanying His Excellency Wang Jiarui during the Audience Ceremony was Her Excellency Yang Jian, the Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Also present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
