No cracks within BN, just exchanges to strengthen coalition — PBS veep

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah is still very much attached to its other colleagues in Barisan Nasional.

“There is no crack as claimed by an opposition party. It is just cliques reminding each other to optimise and strengthen relations,” said PBS vice president, Datuk Daniel Kinsik in a statement, yesterday,

Kinsik was responding to Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri (PAKAR) president, Datuk Henrynus Amin, who claimed that there was trouble in BN following PBS’ request on other component parties not to neglect its grassroots supporters.

“It is totally healthy for us, the component parties in BN, to remind each other on certain matters because we want to further improve our rapport. It does not mean there is crack within the coalition. It just makes us stronger,” Kinsik explained.

He described Henrynus’ comment as just some ‘cheap shots’ because he is ‘desperate for attention’.

“Sell your party’s struggle. Do not ride on cheap misguided interpretation. It only shows desperation on his party’s part,” said Kinsik, reminding Henrynus that BN is not a six-month-old party like PAKAR. He stressed that BN is a proven and tested coalition that have passed the test of time.

“We will take on the opposition anytime,  and triumph over them,” Kinsik vowed.
