MIRI: Acer, the main IT sponsor for the Miri ICT Expo 2017, will showcase its Acer Predator 21X at the expo.
It is said to be the world’s first laptop with a curved screen integrated eye-tracking technology, alongside an arsenal of top-notch hardware for an even more immersive user experience.
“It is the world’s first curved screen gaming laptop with 21-inch IPS display and full-sized mechanical keyboard,” Acer Sales & Service Sdn Bhd Miri branch manager Richard Soo told a press conference yesterday.
He said with an overclockable 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphic cards in SLI (Scalable Link Interface) and 64GB of DDR4 RAM, the Predator 21X takes the AAA gaming experience to new heights.
The laptop also integrates Tobii eye-tracking technology, which allows gamers to identify enemies, aim, and take cover simply by gazing at objects on the screen, he said.
Featuring an advanced cooling architecture with five system fans, of which three are ultra-thin AeroBlade metal fans, the Predator 21X is capable of keeping all its features running at optimal temperatures for super-smooth performance during intense gaming sessions.
He said there will be free inspection of Acer laptops and PCs throughout the expo at Miri Indoor Stadium from tomorrow until Sunday (Oct 6-8).
Acer Malaysia will also offer fantastic deals and promotion packages exclusively for Miri Sarawak ICT Expo 2017 visitors.
Among the offers are gifts worth up to RM900 with purchases of selected Acer laptops or PCs.
Customers who purchase any eligible product will receive gifts such as Microsoft Office, mobile external 1TB HDD, and Acer Wireless Mouse with their new devices.
For laptop purchasers, Acer is offering free extended warranty for all ultra slim Swift 3 laptops, Swift 5 laptops, and Predator Helios 300 gaming laptops purchased during the Miri Sarawak ICT Expo 2017.
The extended warranty package called Acer Supercare provides additional coverage such as accidental drop and theft.
Customers buying other select Acer devices can opt for the Acer Supercare package at exclusive prices from RM139 during the expo.

The Sarawak ICT Expo 2017 is organised by the Computer Sales and Services Association (CSSA) of Sarawak Miri Branch in collaboration with Miri City Council.
