MIRI: Continuous rain since last night resulted in flash floods in several residential areas in Taman Tunku today.
A check at the residential areas, namely at Jalan Sibu, Jalan Durin and Jalan Daro, showed that the water level had increased significantly since 6am.
The water level is currently at about 2 feet and is expected to rise if the rain continues.
Meanwhile, the road heading towards Kampung Lusut in Taman Tunku via the Sg. Dalam bridge is impassable by all vehicles due to the flood water.
Residents who want to go to Kampung Lusut via the bridge are advised to use alternative roads such as through Lambir.
