Six foreign workers detained

TAWAU: Six foreign workers, including two women, were detained by the Immigration authority in operations conducted here on Monday.

Head of the Tawau Immigration office, Noraini Rasi, said the operations, which began at 8.30pm,  were conducted at food stalls near Pasar Gantung, Jalan Klinik Tawau here.

“The foreign workers, comprising four Indonesian men and two Filipinas, aged between 18 and 33, did not possess valid identification documents,” she said in a statement here yesterday. — Bernama
