MUKAH: Sarawak must think and act fast to adapt to drastic changes in the world economy to prepare the younger generations to meet global workforce challenges.

Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said that being underpopulated the plan to develop Sarawak on the economics of scale was near impossible.

He therefore urged Sarawak’s current and future leaders to start thinking of the best possible way to tap into the bigger global economic potential and start preparing the youths to master sophisticated technology.

He stressed that he is only speaking from his observation and is not trying to implement any new policy.

“I am just sharing my thought and concern for our future generations,” he added.
