SIBU: Sarawak Dayak Youth Organisation (Pebedas) held a bowling tournament at Sibu Superbowl for members as well as those from local Dayak non-governmental organisations (NGO) recently.
Nine teams took part in the competition, including a team each from the Dayak Club of the University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) and Sarawak Dayak National Union (SDNU) Sibu.
Pebedas president Alexander Frederick was also present.
The objective of the tournament was to foster closer friendship and ties among Pebedas members and members of the local Dayak NGOs.
The tournament ended with Pebedas Sibu A team emerging as champion.
Pebedas Sibu E were second and Pebedas Sibu C third. The winners took home hampers and medals.
