Sarawak, Sabah schools win Dutch Lady awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Three schools from Sarawak and Sabah won prizes at Dutch Lady’s ‘Anugerah 3K’ and ‘Drink.Move.BeStrong Special Project’ held here recently.

SJKC Chung Hua Krokop, Sarawak won the ‘Move Category’ of Drink.Move.BeStrong and brought home a RM500 cash prize.

SK Lahad Datu 2, Sabah won the ‘Drink Category’ and ‘BeStrong Category’ of the Drink.Move.BeStrong and was rewarded with RM1,000 in total cash prize.

SMK Kuhara, Sabah won third place for Anugerah 3K – Secondary School Category, which offered a RM3,000 cash prize and certificate of excellence.

Sabah Education Department, meanwhile, won second place in the inter-state Anugerah 3K.

Anugerah 3K, which stands for ‘Kebersihan’ (Cleanliness), ‘Kesihatan’ (Health), and ‘Keselamatan’ (Safety), is an annual event organised by the Education Ministry with Dutch Lady as its main sponsor and strategic partner.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk P.Kalamathan and Dutch Lady Malaysia managing director Saw Chooi Lee handed over the prizes.
