KUCHING: Dine at Sarawak River Cruise’s Floating Restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the city while enjoying breathtaking night views of Sarawak River.

Started on Nov 1, from 7pm to 11pm, the Floating Restaurant is serving sumptuous dinner on the cruise during which diners enjoy dishes in privacy with views of the almost-completed pedestrian Golden S Bridge.

Chat the night away under the stars while seeing the new State Legislative Assembly Building sit majestically by the riverbank.

The menu features Western dishes, noodles, rice, snacks, soup and drinks  – juices, coffee and tea, beer and wine.

All-time local favourite Laksa is on the menu. Other dishes are grilled Lamb Chop, grilled  Chicken Chop, Fish and Chips, Cabonara Spaghetti.

Rice dishes are Nasi Aruk Seafood, Pineapple Fried, Crispy Ayam Penyet, Fried Rice Seafood and Salted Fish Fried Rice.

The vessel, built in 1990, has been cruising the Sarawak River and giving tourists and locals a panoramic view of the city and its famous landmarks such as the Governor’s Residence, Fort Margherita and Malay villages.

The cruise also provides catering packages featuring local and Western cuisine for parties, weddings and corporate functions.

The ship can accommodate about 100 passengers and its facilities include an air-conditioned dining lounge on the lower deck.
