KUCHING: 20dB Hearing is holding a nationwide campaign until Dec 31 to celebrate the opening of its 20th outlet in Penang today.

During the promotion, there will be free hearing screenings, free 20-day take-home trial for hearing aid (with deposit), and free consultation with an audiologist.

“We are celebrating our 20th outlet, which is quite an achievement. We also have the highest number of audiologists, 25, throughout Malaysia,” chief executive officer and audiologist Mok Yong Yaw said in an interview yesterday.

“We are also having 20 per cent discount or RM1,500 rebate for purchase of a hearing aid during this campaign period, and those who spend minimum RM50 on hearing aid or hearing aid batteries will get to participate in our lucky draw.”

He said the take-home trial will allow customers to test if the hearing aid is suitable for them.

The newest rechargeable hearing aid is also available at 20dB.

Hearing aids previously required disposable batteries, which needed to be replaced every two weeks or so.

Customers who purchase a hearing aid from 20dB can get free follow-ups at any of the outlets.

The company provides a comprehensive range of products and services, with tests for babies to the elderly.

Its opening hours are from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, and from 9am to 3pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

In Sarawak, 20dB can be found at S3 Curve in Kuching (082-411220), Sibu (084-312211), Miri (085-424019), and Bintulu (086-315382).
