MIRI: A motorist suffered facial injuries after his car slammed into a tree near a roundabout at Tanjung Lobang, here on Monday night.
The 49-year-old was travelling alone back to his house in Bakam from the city centre when the incident happened around 11pm.
His car is said to have gone out of control upon reaching the roundabout before crashing into the tree.
Personnel from the Civil Defence Force were dispatched to the scene following a distress call and sent the victim to Miri Hospital for treatment.
