According to the brief facts of the case, the 22-year-old female victim was walking in front of the General Post Office at Jalan Tun Haji Openg about 6.30pm on Oct 28 when she was confronted by the accused. He demanded that she hand over to him her handphone after snatching her necklace.

She gave chase but to no avail.
