CM visits China’s foremost IT solution provider

WUHAN, China: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg who is on his third day of visit to China this morning flew from Beijing to Wuhan in Hubei Province in the central part of China.

While in Wuhan, the Chief Minister visited the Fibrehome headquarters, China’s foremost global IT solution provider, where he was taken on a conducted tour of the facility and given a briefing on the operation of the company.

Fibrehome provides solutions in four major areas namely fibre-optic communications, data networking communications, wireless communication, and intelligentising applications.

This leg of the visit was part of the effort to gain insight into IT solution  provision in Sarawak’s quest to digitalise its economy.

Later today, the Chief Minister will fly further South of China to Guangzhou for the last leg of his working visit to China.
