KUCHING: Residents of Kampung Taee in Serian are desperately in need of water supply as they have been facing water woe for two days already.
A resident who only wished to be named as Joseph, said the local people are facing all sorts of difficulties due to the water disruption.
He said the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) explained that water supply to the village is disrupted due to two incidences of water pipe burst on Monday and Tuesday.
Even after the two water pipes have been fixed, local villagers are still without water supply and the department is seeking for other pipe leakages.
He said villagers are fed up with similar explanation by the authorities namely the Public Works Department and JBALB no matter how logical their explanation is, because all they need is clean water.
On top of that, Joseph said they wanted the problem be fixed urgently.
