KOTA KINABALU: The Sessions Court here yesterday fixed Feb 19 to 22 to hear the case of two men charged with running a brothel.
Judge Azreen Aziz also set Feb 7 for case management.
The two men, Tay Leong Hee, 52, and Tay Tian Chuan,45, were charged with committing the offence at Tingkat 2, Hotel Promenade, No.4, Lorong Api-Api 3, Api-Api Centre, at 8.44pm on Nov 23 last year.
They were charged under Section 373 (1)(a) of the Penal Code, which provides an imprisonment for up to 15 years, and liable to fine, if found guilty. Leong Hee and Tian Chuan were represented by lawyers Datuk Chaw Chin Tang and Adrian Cham Chee Kong, respectively. — Bernama
