KUCHING: The Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports, together with the Sarawak Sports Corporation (SSC), Institute of Teacher Education Tun Abdul Razak Campus (IPGKTAR) and UiTM Sarawak will host the 5th Seminar on Sports and Exercise Psychology at a local hotel here from Feb 6 to 7.
This seminar is aimed at bridging international academicians, post-graduate students and practitioners to create growth and intensify cooperation between researchers and practitioners from various countries.
It is endorsed by the Asian South Pacific Association of Sports Psychology (ASPASP), International Society of Sports Psychology (ISSP), Malaysian Sports Psychology Association with the collaboration of the International Federation of Physical Education Asia, Universiti Sains Malaysia and University of Malaya.
Fourteen international prominent speakers from South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand and four national speakers will be presenting their research and conducting workshops during the seminar.
Over 60 foreign and local presenters have registered for the seminar which is expected to draw approximately 300 delegates from various countries.
Fees for the seminar are RM400 per person, with an early bird promotion rate of RM350 if registration is made on or before Jan 30.
There will also be a fee of RM150 for college and university students who register before Jan 30.
Foreign participants will be charged US$180 per person while foreign students will be charged US$100. Closing date for registration is Feb 1.
