SIBU: Pakatan Harapan (PH) National Deputy President Tan Sri Dato Muhyiddin Yassin fired his first salvo and said that now is the best time for the people to topple the BN government.
He said the people are angry with the BN government as too many issues remains unsolved.
“Everywhere I go, the businessmen are complaining to me of no business and this is because the rakyat do not have money to spend,” he said at the inaugural PH Sarawak Convention held today.
He added that now is the best chance for PH to strike and win.
Muhyiddin said nothing is impossible and for PH to win in the coming election every voter should come out to vote.
“We want to see a bigger turnout of voters and with a bigger turnout we will have a better chance to win. We are now the government-in-waiting.”
Muhyiddin noted that BN leaders were saying the Opposition parties were in disarray and could not even negotiate their seats.
“This is not true. Actually for the first time in history we manage to sit down and amicably settle all the seats allocation without any problem,” he said, adding that people are more educated and know their rights.
“So just come out to vote when the time comes.”
