Four Schools in Tabalong Receive National Adiwiyata Award

TANJUNG, S Kalimantan: Four schools in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, were awarded Adiwiyata (environmentally cultured) for the national level, AntaranewsKalsel reported.

“The four schools are elementary school SD Cakung Permata Nusa, junior high school SMPN 2 Murung Pudak, vocational high school SMKN 1 Murung Pudak and high school SMAN 1 Muara Uya. The Adiwiyata National Award has been held on December 21, 2017,” said Head of Environment Maintenance of Tabalong Environment Agency Nilly Raihani here on Monday.

Today (yesterday, red), she added, the National Adiwiyata 2017 award will be submitted by the Regent of Tabalong to each school.

In addition to submitting the national Adiwiyata award Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani handed Adipura 2017 trophy from South Kalimantan.

Adipura 2017 gift from South Kalimantan Government is a Dumptruck Armroll container to support waste management in the district.

On the same occasion, the district also awarded government agencies, state-owned enterprises, NGOs and private companies for their participation in environmental management and conservation. They are UPT Unity of Forest Management, PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Pertamina EP Asset V Tanjung Field, Perkumpulan Pusaka and PT Saptaindera Sejati.
